Home of the Free, Thanks to the Brave - Marines
As you look at the flag, you can see I’ve drawn it in a style more impressionistic than the rest of the drawing. There’s a reason, it’s because of the stars. You may notice some of the stars are missing; some are not designed with straight edges. That’s because some of our best, some of our brightest stars are fallen. Others are wounded, yet they still shine.
The little Princess on the left is leaning on her Daddy, pillar of strength that he is. The little Princess in the front is protecting her Daddy, shielding him from the bad guys. The little Firecracker in his Mom’s arms is being just that: a firecracker. The tiny baby is in no safer place than his Father’s arms. Mom is watching the children, while Dad is looking out for you.
Daddy is the Marine here, but they are all part of this battle. Each one does their part to bring hope, joy and courage to the front lines, wherever they may be drawn.
This picture is dedicated to all the military families across our beloved nation. Because of them we remain the Home of the Free, Thanks to the Brave.
I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. Ephesians 1:16
